Most business meetups run on drop-in culture: a different crowd every month, introductions on loop, and conversations that reset to zero each time. You can attend for a year and still be meeting everyone for the first time.
Crowds are easy to build and worth very little. What people actually want from a meetup is peers who know them, candor, and real help. That only shows up under continuity.
Continuity Is the Feature
When the same people return to the same table, context compounds. Nobody re-explains their business. The conversation starts where it left off, which is the only place useful conversations start.
Continuity also creates the thing no drop-in room has: accountability. When your seat is one of six, showing up matters, and what you said last month gets remembered. That pressure is a gift.
A Standing Table
Outwork is a standing table, not a drop-in event: six seats, every last Tuesday, same room, same expectation of honesty. It is the meetup rebuilt around the part that works.
