Marketing for Founders

Positioning, messaging, and distribution for the company you run.

The Work

Marketing for a founder-led company is three questions in order. What is this, said plainly enough that the right customer recognizes it. What words carry that, on the site, in the pitch, in the product itself. And where does it need to be seen by the people who would actually pay for it.

Positioning, messaging, distribution. Most young companies have a product answer and no marketing answer, and most agencies sell them a package instead of the three questions. Outwork does the questions.

How It Runs

The work starts from what you are building and what is in the way, not from a service menu. Scopes stay small enough to ship and judge: a positioning that holds up, pages that say it, a distribution plan someone actually executes.

It is founder-to-founder work. The person on the other side of the table runs companies and builds things that ship, and the advice is priced in that currency: what would actually move this business.

Questions

Is this only for founders who have been to a dinner?
No. Many working relationships start at the table, but the work is open to founders who are building seriously.
What kind of companies does Outwork work with?
Founder-led companies, any stage. The application language holds here too: what matters is what you are building and whether you are honest about what is hard.
What happens first?
A conversation about the company and what is in the way. Email nick@weoutwork.com or request a seat at the table.
